Whacking Day is Here in the Latest Update For The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Back in early March, we speculated as to whether or not there would be a Whacking Day update to The Simpsons: Tapped Out sometime this spring. Well, a brand-new update was just released and if you can't tell from the picture above, our predictions have come true! We should have named this update our Lock of the Week.

This is the 11th content-filled update since The Simpsons: Tapped Out took off late last summer and through the Whacking Day event, there will be several new features and characters rolled out, including Drederick Tatum, Ninja Homer, Gymnastics Lisa and Shirtless Willie.

There will also be a snake-whacking element in the game, much in the same way you collected Santa Coins and Halloween Candy for the seasonal updates. With these, you will be able to unlock limited-time items and decorations.
