Watch Dogs shows us the horrors of a fully connected future, but before we suffer the consequences of always being plugged in, check out these screenshots and gameplay video from the PlayStation 4 announcement demo.

Aiden Pearce continues to prove that he's a little more badass than most by using his phone to hack into the central operating system of Chicago, which acts as the beating heart of the city that sees and controls everything.

The screenshots below show Aiden in action, hacking everything from fuse boxes to trains in order to achieve his goals. The shots are all gorgeous and show off a great deal of the game's mechanics, but what it fails to capture is how alive Chicago feels in-game. It's a wonder to see people walking around and going about their daily lives. It's even more amazing to see them react to Aiden's exploits.

Check out the video and screenshots below and let us know how you feel about this assault on Big Brother. Watch Dogs will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 at its launch, but will also be available on Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. We'll let you know when a solid release date has been announced!
