In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war. Specifically, there's Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, Fatshark's upcoming first-person 4-player co-op title.

The PlayStation Blog has posted a debut trailer of Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, a first-person, 4-player co-op adventure game. With a property that's been around as long as Warhammer has, it's easy to find people who are passionate about bringing the franchise to life in different mediums and in new, creative ways.

"We've been wanting to make a Warhammer game since a group of us at Fatshark started playing Warhammer Fantasy Battle together in our spare time back in 2004. At the time, we lacked the experience and the team to build a game that we felt would live up to our dreams," said Martin Wahlund, Vermintide's Executive Producer.  "After having worked on a number of games and watched the team grow in size, we finally set out to build our most ambitious game to date in an IP that we are incredibly passionate about."

Set in the Skaven (aka rat people)-infested city of Ubersreik, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide tasks players with working as a team, utilizing unique abilities to create a group that is stronger than the sum of its parts. The team at Fatshark worked diligently to ensure Vermintide looks and feels like a Warhammer game. We hope to learn more about Vermintide's unique heroes, creatures, and gameplay elements in the time that comes before its launch.

While no launch window has been set, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is slated for a PlayStation 4 release.
