Built on the Ubi Art Framework, Valiant Hearts: The Great War takes place during the first World War, and tells the story of five different people coming together to help reunite lost loves.

You don't really get a sense of the gameplay for Valiant Hearts from the above trailer, but since it's built on the same engine as Rayman Legends, it's very clear the game will have that hand-drawn vibe throughout. Inspired by letters sent during the war, the story will take you through the lives of the handful of leading characters over the course of the four years spent on the Western front.

Valiant Hearts looks like a very interesting title, and is far from what we expect to see from a war game. It will find its home on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 sometime next year, and looks to bolster an already impressive library of unique titles on Sony's next-gen platform.
