The hills may have eyes, but the latest trailer for Until Dawn proves that this remote mountain retreat has a monster lurking about.

Pete Samuels, the Executive Producer of Until Dawn, has posted Supermassive Games' latest trailer on the PlayStation Blog. Until Dawn is an adventure game-style horror title where eight friends must try to survive against a murderous psychopath. This crazed killer knows the terrain better than you, so it's up to you to run away, trip on nothing and add to the suspense. With eight different young adults as a part of the cast, we're pretty sure not all of them are going to make it. There's a butterfly effect system in place, so just remember that all of your decisions matter — even the small choices.

Here's what Samuels had to say Until Dawn's new victi... err, cast member:

I’m also really thrilled to reveal a new cast member that you’ll be seeing in Until Dawn – Peter Stormare, who you might recognize from Prison Break, The Big Lebowski and (more recently) Arrow! He gave some incredibly powerful performances in the motion capture studio and you can tell from the end result in the game that he had some fun with the character. We couldn’t be happier to have him in the games and I can’t wait for you to see him in full flow.

Until Dawn will exclusively launch for PlayStation 4 on Aug. 25. Pre-ordering this horror game will get you a special bonus scene featuring a couple visiting this macabre mountain resort that you can't get anywhere else.
