We've seen classic video games remade and demade into basically everything, but these new works by artist Joey Spiotto take the cake. He's turned our favorite video games into Golden Books a la some of our favorite childhood storybooks, and we now want to read them.

Spiotto has an entire portfolio of Golden Books, but only a handful of them are specifically from video games. Assassin's Creed, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid, and more iconic video games have been turned into childhood tales with titles like "The Solid Little Snake," "The Angry Little God of War," and "The Legendary Little Chief." We can't stop say d'awwwwwwwwww.

These make us wonder what Golden Book versions of these games would be like. Would the Golden version of Halo focus on the war with the Covenant, or would the Arbiter lose his favorite toy and Master Chief would have to help him find it? What groups of adorable fauna would join "The Little Tomb Raider" on her adventures? We hope that someone will take these illustrations and make actual children's books out of them, because they would be great.

The video-game themed pictures can be found below, but the entire portfolio can be viewed and prints can be purchased if you follow this link.
