Square Enix is adding a bunch of songs from its RPG hits of yesteryear to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call as DLC.

The magical maestros at Square Enix have announced they've released the last installment of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call's '2nd Performance' DLC. The first half of this downloadable content song set launched earlier this month and the second half launched this week. Priced at $0.99 a track, these songs are a collection of some of our favorite Square Enix RPGs of all time, including the likes of Final Fantasy Tactics, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy X.

Here are the songs and their corresponding gameplay types that were released this week:

Battle Music Sequence (BMS)

  • “Real Emotion” (Final Fantasy X-2)
  • “Struggle to the Death” (Final Fantasy Legend II)*
  • “Devil Lord Confrontation II” (Romancing SaGa 3)*
  • “Boss Battle 2” (Chrono Trigger)
  • “Shadowlord” (Nier)

Field Music Sequence (FMS)

  •  “Corridors of Time” (Chrono Trigger)
  • “Meridian Child” (Seiken Densetsu 3)
  • “Birds in the Sky, Fish in the River” (Live A Live™)

Fans of the series will also be excited to note that two songs in this final batch, “Struggle to the Death” and “Devil Lord Confrontation II”, will be free to download for a limited time.

The following songs were released as DLC earlier this month:

Battle Music Sequence (BMS)

  • “Assault” (Final Fantasy X)
  • “Apoplexy” (Final Fantasy Tactics)
  • “Beat Them Up!” (Romancing SaGa)
  • “Battle with Magus” (Chrono Trigger)
  • “Hills of Radiant Winds” (Nier)

Field Music Sequence (FMS)

  • “Into the Thick of It” (Secret of Mana)
Here's to hoping that Square Enix has a '3rd Performance' DLC set in store, because we're digging these classic RPG tunes.
