The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct Quietly Releases a Launch Trailer
Though it may be overshadowed by several other major releases hitting today, Activision's and Terminal Reality's The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct launched on Tuesday.
Everybody's favorite crossbow-wielding, zombie ear-snatching, squirrel-eating country boy Daryl Dixon gets his chance to shine in his very own video game. Taking place prior to the events of AMC's The Walking Dead television series, TWD: Survival Instinct has Daryl tracking down his brother Merle amidst the beginning of a zombie outbreak.
Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker do appear in the game as their respective characters, and the first-person shooter does provide a different experience from the other Walking Dead video game from Telltale. Whether or not that means Survival Instinct will be any good is anyone's guess, but if you like zombies and you (like so many millions) enjoy Daryl Dixon, this game could be right up your alley.
Check out the trailer below, and let us know if you'll be picking up The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or Wii U.
