The Talos Principle Expansion, ‘Road to Gehenna,’ Announced

Croteam isn't only gearing up for The Talos Principle's port to PlayStation 4 and Android, they're also working on an expansion for the stellar puzzler.

Devolver Digital and Croteam have announced The Talos Principle: 'Road to Gehenna,' the game's upcoming expansion pack. It will be set in the same world as The Talos Principle and will have the player following Uriel, Elohim's messenger. Uriel is looking to free the souls of the damned and he will not stop until he does so. This will require him to explore a yet uncharted portion of the laser-filled simulation, but we know that he is up for the task.

The expansion will hold four different episodes for the player to test their skills on. These puzzles will be harder than ever, so you will need to make sure that you bring your A game. But really, all this new content is simply to give fans a different look at the story behind The Talos Principle. Tom Jubery, co-writer of The Talos Prcinciple is just as excited as the fans are about bringing new content to the game.

"We wanted to revisit the world of The Last Principle and deliver new characters and a new world with its own history and culture," Jugery said. "With 'Road to Gehenna' we have created an all-new narrative which both branches off from and expands the original character's journey."

The Talos Principle: 'Road to Gehenna' will be launching on Steam sometime this spring. The Talos Principle will also be coming to PlayStation 4 and Nvidia Shield along with the 'Road to Gehenna' expansion later this year.
