Dontnod's Remember Me has some rather tricky science at the center of its story, but Creative Director Jean-Maxime Moris talks a bit about what memories mean to Nilin in this latest gameplay trailer.

When the first footage for Remember Me appeared, we were immediately interested. High-concept science fiction has always been a good genre for video games, and Remember Me is doing something with its core concept we haven't seen before. That's tricky, but it's also what makes the game so attractive. We've blasted aliens countless times in the past, but we've never had control over the memories of other characters.

Protagonist Nilin can use others' memories to her advantage, and in this new footage, Moris takes us a bit deeper into what that all entails. Not only does Nilin have the ability to enter and remix memories, but she can also use them to learn new combat abilities, and even duke it out with boss characters on the battlefield of the mind.

Due out on June 4th, Remember Me comes at a time when it could be overshadowed by E3 announcements and reveals, but we have a feeling this new franchise won't easily be forgotten. Check out the video below, and let us know what you think about Remember Me in the comments.
