The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Screenshots Get Us All Tingly

The release of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD can't get here soon enough. While we wait to sail the seas in high-def, this batch of new screenshots will have to suffice.

Thanks to AllGamesBeta, we've got a look at some of the beautiful screenshots from Wind Waker's HD remake for the Nintendo Wii U. Call us sentimental or nostalgic, but cel-shading never looked so good.

Check out the handful of screenshots shown below. We can't wait to see how the game will play with faster load times, GamePad integration and crisper visual. But sadly, we'll have to wait until October to get our hands on Wind Waker HD.
