The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons were two Game Boy Color games that came out in 2001 and offered an adventure that spanned two worlds, culminating in one giant journey for Link. Thanks to today's Nintendo Direct, we now know that we'll be seeing the rebirth of these games soon.

The games combined the best of the 2D Zelda games, memorable characters from the Nintendo 64 Zelda titles, and new mechanics into one very big Zelda adventure. The two titles were interconnected and let players either one first, with the chance to continue the journey on the other game. This type of duality is often seen in The Legend of Zelda games, but this was the first time that two separate games had to be used.

These two titles will be available in the Nintendo 3DS eShop on May 30th, 2013. Are you excited to play them again? Or maybe for the first time? Let us know in the comments below!
