No one really catches a break during the Cordyceps apocalypse, but at least you'll get to play through it in The Last of Us Remastered for a little bit cheaper.

CVG reports that Sony's US branch has decided to drop the price of The Last of Us Remastered from $59.99 to $49.99. Anyone who pre-ordered the digital version of The Last of Us Remastered online from Sony will be getting a $10 refund within the next week. Certain retail chains, such as Walmart, Amazon and GameStop are still listing The Last of Us Remastered for $59.99, but we have a feeling this will change over the next few days to reflect its Sony-ordered price drop.

Joel and Ellie saddle up to face the Cordyceps apocalypse one more time when The Last of Us Remastered comes out on July 29 exclusively on PlayStation 4. The Last of Us Remastered will also include each DLC pack included in the original game's season pass, which includes the Left Behind single-player campaign.
