We're afraid we've got some bad news about The Black Glove, which was being developed by a team comprised of former Irrational Games (BioShock) members.

The Black Glove's Kickstarter campaign has ended and failed to meet even half of its $550,000 goal, Polygon reports. The Black Glove was being developed by Day For Night Games, which consisted of many members of Irrational Games, known for its work on BioShock and BioShock Infinite. The game's Kickstarter campaign raised $216,517, but missed its $550,000 goal by $333,483.

Day For Night Games remains optimistic and updated its Kickstarter page saying that its team will "fight like hell to keep [The Black Glove] from being canceled."

Originally intended to be self-publish The Black Glove without the use of a third-party publisher, Day For Night Games has supposedly been contacted by multiple publishers over the past few weeks when it looked like The Black Glove wasn't going to make its crowdfunding goal.

"It may be weeks or months before we have news to report, but we intend to be back with more as soon as possible," said a developer at Day for Night.

We hope that it does get picked up, because The Equinox was looking mighty impressive.
