If you own a smartphone, chances are you know what Temple Run is -- the addicting mobile game in which players are chased continuously through the amazon by demon monkeys for stealing their golden idol. Now Warner Bros. is going to take that same game and somehow transform it into a film.
Following the success of Temple Run: Brave, Disney Mobile Games and Imangi Studios partnered up today to release Temple Run: Oz, the latest in a string of collaborations between the legendary studio and mobile game makers. The game arrives on mobile devices ahead of the upcoming film "Oz the Great and Powerful," which hits theaters this Friday.

The extra two employees were brought on to help make Temple Run 2 a bigger and better game. So how did they do?
Temple Run, that juggernaut of an endless runner, will get itself a straight-up sequel that will likely hit the App Store tomorrow, Jan. 17. This news arrives thanks to the watchful eyes of Touch Arcade, who spotted a link for the game over in the New Zealand iTunes App Store. Again with the Kiwis!
