It looks like we'll have plenty of room to sneak around, folks. It's just been revealed that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's open world will be "hundreds of times" larger than Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes'.

During the invite-only PlayStation 4 press event in New York this past week, Hideo Kojima was on hand to show off some Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes. He also inadvertently revealed Sony's consoles would have exclusive content for the upcoming prologue to MGS 5: The Phantom Pain.

When you have a game series that's been running as long as Metal Gear Solid's, it's tough to continue expanding on the narrative. It's even tougher to keep jamming new details into the history through prequels. Looks like Hideo Kojima might have finally hit a continuity wall with Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, but he's not worried.

Hideo Kojima has turned up the heat for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's character design. According to the prolific director, it's all part of the plan to make the new characters more interesting to cosplayers... and the marketability sure doesn't hurt.
