Sunset Overdrive Will Have Online Co-op

Insomniac Games teased that there is an online co-op mode included with its upcoming, open world third-person shooter, Sunset Overdrive.

In a unique turn of events, the official Sunset Overdrive Twitter claims that there will be a co-op online mode being added to the game. Sunset Overdrive is an over-the-top third-person shooter plays a lot like Dead Rising with its open world, crazy weapons and multitude of monsters for you to kill, but it also features grinding and aerial moves that remind us of Jet Set Radio and the Prince of Persia. The same Twitter account recently answered a fan's question by saying that the game's main campaign/story mode was going to be single-player only.

In response to another fan's question, Insomniac Games revealed that it has some hectic multiplayer co-op gameplay in store for shooter enthusiasts who want to enjoy the chaos of Sunset Overdrive with a partner. While no exact release date has been announced, Sunset Overdrive will be launching sometime this fall exclusively for Xbox One.
