Fans of the Blue Bomber and Street Fighter's World Warriors can now download the latest in Capcom's crossovers, Street Fighter X Mega Man.

PC Gamer has reported on the crossover's release and we're sure that Capcom's servers are being put through the paces even as we speak. It's essentially a Mega Man game, but you've got Street Fighter characters instead of Robot Masters. So if you've ever wanted to fire off some 8-bit buster shots at Blanka's head, now's your chance.

Sure, Mega has already taken on Ryu and the gang in games like the Marvel vs. Capcom series, Tatsunoku vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars, and even as an older, more rotund version of himself in Street Fighter X Tekken, but now he finally gets to fight them on his own turf.

You can download the game on PC for free here, but expect the site to be bogged down by the masses trying to get their Mega Man fix. While you wait for the site to load, check out the video below to see how what was originally a fan project gave birth to this most awesome of crossovers.
