That's not Abel cosplaying as Finn Balor. That's Street Fighter V's first all-new character, the powerful and mysterious Necalli.

To help close out Evo 2015, Capcom unveiled its downloadable content plans for Street Fighter V as well as its first original character, Necalli. Capcom claims that having the original version of Street Fighter V is all you're going to need, as most of the game's post-release content can be earned via gameplay. This likely includes gameplay-related DLC, such as new characters, but we will probably have to pay for the inevitable ton of costumes on the way. Street Fighter V is going to launch with a total of 16 characters on its core roster, which includes four all-new fighters making their debuts. We should note that Street Fighter IV started off with a core roster of 19 combatants: Able, C. Viper, Rufus, El Fuerte, Seth, Gouken, Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, E. Honda, Blanka, Zangief, Guile, Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega, Sagat, M. Bison and Akuma. So far, the only fighters revealed for Street Fighter V include Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Birdie, Cammy, M. Bison, Nash and Necalli. This means we still have three new fighters to meet and five characters making their returns. For the returning fighters, our bets are on Blanka, Karen, R. Mika, Urien and some other character from Street Fighter II.

In terms of Necalli, he's unlike anything we've seen so far. His fighting style is quite feral, so expect a lot of dive kicks, swipes and claw attacks, but he's also filled with some kind of dark energy. Necalli's V-Trigger unleashes a demonic power within him that changes his hair and personality, making him much more ferocious than he already was. Unfortunately, Capcom has yet to reveal anything on Necalli's background and history (was that the Dark Hadou?).

Street Fighter V will launch for PC and PS4 in the spring of 2016 with cross-play functionality between both versions.
