One of the longtime producers of Capcom's famous fighting series has decided to call it quits.

According to his Twitter account, game producer and project manager Yoshinori Ono has decided to part ways from Capcom Vancouver. Ono was project manager and producer for the original 2008 version of Street Fighter IV. He was also the producer of Super Street Fighter IV, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter X Tekken and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. Ono notes that he is stepping down from his position as director at Capcom Vancouver, which is strange because he is mainly known for his work as a producer.

Capcom Vancouver is known mainly for Dead Rising 2 and 3. Given the number of Capcom fighting games used in Dead Rising 3's upcoming expansion, Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha, Ono may have been attached to the creation of the DLC project.

Unfortunately, it is still unclear if Ono has left Capcom entirely or has simply left its Vancouver division. We'll be following Ono's next moves closely, and hope he doesn't stay out of action for too long.
