Wei Shen is back with all sorts of crazy bonus content and new features in Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.

Just as Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition provided the optimal version of Lara Croft's re-imagined debut, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition will do the same for Wei Shen. With Grand Theft Auto as the reigning king of open world action games and perhaps Saints Row being its closest contender, we feel that Sleeping Dogs was a vastly overlooked game that provided Rockstar a run for its money. Sleeping Dogs tells the story of Wei Shen, an undercover cop burdened with the death of his Triad-affiliated sister. Wei uses his childhood friendships as a way to get into the good graces of Hong Kong's criminal underworld to put a stop to its drug trafficking. Sleeping Dogs is a compelling tale of duty vs. loyalty and its gameplay is just as solid as its story.

The Definitive Edition will feature all sorts of visual upgrades (such as more cars in traffic and more people out on the streets) and includes all of Sleeping Dogs' previously released downloadable content.

It's time for urban renewal as Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition launches on Oct. 14 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Wei Shen sure as hell knows karate.
