Autumn and Lab Zero Games are bringing Skullgirls 2nd Encore to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita this summer with a ton of new features.

The official Skullgirls website announced that 2nd Encore will be headed to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in a few months. It will include most of the DLC characters and previously released content found in the PS3 and PC versions of the game. Lab Zero Games is working hard to try and make 2nd Encore's new content available for the PC version of Skullgirls. 2nd Encore will be fully voiced featuring an array of well-known voice actors from throughout the anime and video game industries. There will also be a new challenge mode, where you'll have to fight while balancing a variety of combat modifiers. You should expect some kind of new survival mode as well.

Lab Zero announced that the PS4 version of Skullgirls will support the use of PS3 fight sticks and game pads. Of course, there will be a full Platinum trophy set for you to unlock. Best of all, Skullgirls 2nd Encore will support cross-play across all three PlayStation platforms, which will certainly help with its online matchmaking. There will be cross-buy in play between the PS4 and PS Vita versions. Unfortunately, this is not extended to the PS3 version as it was one of PS Plus' free games of the month a while ago.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore will launch this summer for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
