Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers’ New Screenshots Show Us the Goods

Here are a few new screenshots from the upcoming video game with the incredibly long name, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Souls Hackers. Man, there's gotta be a shorter way to say that.

These characters sure look creepy, don't they? But strange character designs are what Shin Megami Tensei games specialize in, and they surely don't disappoint with this latest offering. Your adventures in Amami City will lead you to colorful denizens such as Captain Emo, who is presumably about to cry 40,000 Tears Under the Sea while talking to you about Demon Fusion and checking out your Compendium of demons.

The greased-up semi-rockabilly dude seems a little more normal, though "normal" is a very relative term when it comes to this series. And that old lady with the dolls? Yeah, we were due for some new, more horrific nightmares.

This first-person dungeon crawling role-playing game is set to come out soon and will have players dealing with demons to harness their powers. If all of this sounds like something that interests you, then wait for the game to drop on April 16th, 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS.
