Shadowrun’s Next Project Teased by Harebrained Schemes

Harebrained Schemes teases a neo-goth, tech noir Hong Kong setting for its next big Shadowrun project.

Shadowrun Returns' Kickstarter page posted concept art of the series' next big project, Polygon reports. Based on the image, things look very 'Blade Runner'-inspired. There's a dark, futuristic version of Hong Kong as a massive metropolis having a gritty underworld under it.

"Here's a piece of look & feel concept art for our new setting," said a Harebrained Schemes representative about the picture. "We'll show how it translates into Shadowrun's isometric gameplay view when our Kickstarter launches in January!"

The studio is going to be hitting Kickstarter next month to crowd fund this new Hong Kong-themed Shadowrun title. With over $1.8 million raised for Shadowrun Returns via Kickstarter back in 2012, its PC and mobile releases and the Dragonfall expansion in 2013, we can't wait to see what 2015 brings for Shadowrun.
