Lo Wang is back and up to his old tricks in this foul-mouthed trailer for Shadow Warrior.

The old 3D Realms game has been reimagined thanks to the efforts of Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital. On the PlayStation Blog, Level Designer Artur Maksara discusses what was important in developing this game.

He says that the team asked three important questions in the early stages of development, which are as follows:

  • What was fun about the game?
  • What was unique about the game?
  • What made people remember the game?
They boiled the experience down to the often crude, tongue-in-cheek humor, the level design and all of the secrets you could find hidden throughout the game. Lo Wang's trusty katana was also important, because you could use it to become the human CuisinArts if you ran out of ammo. But perhaps the most important thing was Lo Wang's dialogue. If you're a fan of the original game, and Duke Nukem for that matter, then you know how important it is for the main characters to spout one-liners with cheesy '80s action movie flair.
Prepare to see the game on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when it's released this fall.

Lo Wang's got a filthy mouth, but the 5 Dirtiest Video Games are even filthier.
