Saints Row 4 Official, Coming This August

Deep Silver and Volition unveiled the first trailer for the eagerly anticipated Saints Row 4 on Friday.

Set to arrive on August 20th, the fourth game in the Saints Row series was snapped up by Deep Silver parent company Koch Media during the THQ bankruptcy auction. Volition has clearly been hard at work on the sequel, which looks just as bombastic and insane as the first three entries.

The new sequel will include players taking over as President of the United States, battling a massive alien invasion, and gaining super powers. The footage below shows a lot of content (nut punches? gorilla suits? sexy ladies? goofy powers? check, check, checkity-check), and it's almost hard to believe all the crazy is packed into just one game, but Saints Row has never been one to shy away from throwing more and more content into the fold.
