You'll be able to try out the HD remake of Resident Evil: Revelations one week early when the demo hits the Xbox 360, Wii U, and PlayStation 3 on May 14th.

Capcom announced the demo due date this week, which puts it out exactly one week before the full retail version. The great thing about the demo coming out before the main game is you can try it out on both the 360/PS3 and the Wii U to see which version you like better.

The Wii U version of Revelations will incorporate a host of new mechanics thanks to the GamePad, which should help set it apart from the other console ports. The 3DS version was incredibly solid, so the added factors on the Wii U could put that version over the top of the others.

Which version of Resident Evil: Revelations do you plan on picking up?
