A feature that should have been included since day one, online co-op, is finally hitting Resident Evil Revelations 2's Raid Mode this month.

Eurogamer reports that Capcom is finally giving the green light for Resident Evil Revelations 2 to open up its doors for online co-op in Raid Mode. This feature will be added in less than two weeks, letting you partner up with a friend and take on the legions of the undead together. Raid Mode's online co-op will start on March 31 via an update. By this point, all four episodes of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will have launched. Prior to the release of Revelations 2's first episode, Capcom was rather upfront about the game's individual parts not having Raid Mode online until the game was fully released.

For all you Resident Evil fans who are on the wall about Revelations 2, we admit it has had a rather rocky start, but it's nice catching up with Claire Redfield and Barry Burton. It's been a long time since we've actually had Claire or Barry majorly involved with a Resident Evil plot (we don't really count that Degeneration flick). In Resident Evil Code: Veronica fashion, Claire Redfield and her friend Moira Burton are kidnapped and taken to a prison island where there are all kinds of monsters lurking about. Barry, Moira's father and a longtime friend of the Redfields, went to the island in an attempt to save the girls. Revelations 2's Raid Mode is much like the Mercenaries Mode of RE4-6, letting you take on enemies in an arcade-like manner for the sake of beating your best score. This new Raid Mode should go online on March 31 for all versions of Revelations 2.
