The PC version of Capcom's latest biologically-hazardous adventure has been dated for release and the recommended specs have been revealed.

If you want to run Resident Evil 6 on your PC come March 22nd, 2013, you'll have to get it through Steam. Or you could do the traditional thing and get a boxed copy from a brick-and-mortar store, but that means you'll have to go outside and deal with people. And where there's people, there's always the potential for a zombie outbreak. But the choice is yours and yours alone, consumer! One happy bonus is that either version of the game comes with free downloadable content.

It doesn't matter whether you download it or get a physical copy if you can't run the game. So here are, courtesy of VG247, the specs for the game, as well as some of the features you'll find on Steam:

· Selectable criteria for joining a session:

Region selection
Players can determine whether to join a session based on campaign player’s settings such as infinite ammo or friendly fire setting

· Individual stages within chapters can be accessed at any time once completed

General

· QTE assist
QTE assist is currently part of the Amateur difficulty level, and automatically completes QTEs for the player. With this update, players can optionally activate QTE assist on any difficulty level.
· Adjustments
Some sections of the game have had their difficulty adjusted to provide an improved experience
