Ubisoft has just announced the former Wii U exclusive Rayman Legends will be delayed until September, so it can launch on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at the same time.

Already having gone through a few delays, Rayman Legends was finally set to arrive exclusively on the Wii U Feb. 26th. Now just a mere few weeks away from release, Ubisoft has pulled the rug out from under fans eagerly awaiting the platformer. Expressing a desire to give fans what they want, Ubisoft has pushed the release of Rayman Legends to September, where it will also launch on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

It's a shame the Wii U owners will be deprived of a game originally believed to arrive in the launch window of the system. Rayman Legends was one of the few anticipated games coming to the Wii U during these early months of 2013, and now that it's been pulled from the release slate, it's going to be a tough few months for Nintendo's latest console.
