Team Dakota's anticipated content creator has just announced its open beta.

Major Nelson has come forth and said that Project Spark has moved to a public, open beta phase on Xbox One. Project Spark offers a blank slate for creation which players may use however they see fit to fill with games and movies. Players can use the Xbox One's controller, a keyboard, a mouse, touch-devices (via the Xbox One's SmartGlass companion app) and the Xbox One's Kinect in order to help create content. It is also possible to download preexisting content made by other users and alter it to however the player sees fit.

As of right now, Xbox One owners may join the Project Spark game-making community by downloading its open beta for free on the Xbox One store. No code of any sort is needed in order to participate in Project Spark's beta.
