Professor Layton’s Journey Concludes in 2014

Announced at today's Nintendo Direct conference, Nintendo will bringing the sixth and final Professor Layton game from Level 5 to the U.S. in 2014.

Dubbed Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, this 3DS adventure will close out the second trilogy of Layton titles. There will be more than 500 all-new puzzles to solve as Luke and Layton travel the globe to find the answers to their latest mystery.

While the release is more than a few months away, there's still time to try and convince Nintendo and Capcom to release the Professor Layton meets Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney game in North America. Any excuse for more of those characters would be welcome, but putting them together in one title is just asking for fans to freak out over the opportunity to play such a game.

More details on Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy will likely come during another Nintendo Direct event near the end of 2013.
