Capcom and Level 5 have teamed up to bring two of their greatest minds together in the mystical city of Labyrinthia. Both Prof. Layton and Phoenix Wright must use their skills to help out a girl named Espella Cantabella, who has been accused of being a witch.

In the game, you'll play through the distinct gameplay styles of both the Professor Layton and Ace Attorney titles. This means that you'll solve puzzles Professor Layton-style in Adventure Mode and then engage in the courtroom drama of the Ace Attorney series in Trial Mode, complete with witness cross-examinations.

There will also be group cross-examinations, so you must help Phoenix pit testimonies against others' in order to find out the truth. Defend Espella Cantabella when she goes to trial in Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney on Aug. 29 for the 3DS.
