We've known about the strange dimension-bending Pokemon called Hoopa for some time now, we even know there's a movie coming out starring the little guy, but now we know that the Hoopa we've seen isn't even his final form. Hoopa Unbound has been revealed, and he looks nasty. In celebration of the new animated feature film, Pokemon: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are adding the mysterious Hoopa to their Poke-rosters.

As opposed to the small, cutesy magician Hoopa Confined, Hoopa Unbound is a six-armed Goliath holding multiple realm-bending rings in his hands and using them for powerful attacks. The conversion to Unbound changed Hoops from Psychic/Ghost to Psychic/Dark, which we can only imagine is a reflection of his true nature.

Seriously, look at that monster and tell us how we're supposed to control that which can bend a hole in spacetime, not to mention a creature that looks like Asura from Asura's Wrath and probably holds the same if not more power. Of course this is Pokemon, and a few games ago we were able to catch the creator of the universe itself with Arceus, so we supposed nothing is out of the question.

The most important piece of information surrounding Hoopa is when we'll be able to add him to our Pokemon collection (outside of hacks). Unfortunately, this has yet to be revealed, but we assume it will tie-in to the Western release of the Hoopa and the Clash of Ages movie, which is set to premiere on Cartoon Network sometime in 2015. We'll keep an eye out and report on Hoopa's arrival to the games, because we don't want to miss out on this powerful Pokemon.

Here's a trailer for the upcoming animated movie headed for a Cartoon Network debut later this year:
