A whole slew of new, English-language trailers have just been posted for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, now showing us more of the story, the new game systems and some of our favorite characters.

First up, we have the story trailer, which shows us what misfortune has befallen Inaba City this time. It seems that a red fog has spread over the town, robbing it of power and some of its citizens, namely a few of the main characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4. We see glimpses of the main cast and are treated to the dulcet tones of the English voice cast, like Laura Bailey as pop idol Rise Kujikawa.

A "New Systems" trailer gives us a look at the features we can find in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, such as the ability to play as the Shadows of the main characters. Get ready to think that everyone's got jaundiced eyes. The SP Skill Boost will give your attacks more oomph, ensuring that your opponents' life bars trickle further towards the middle of the screen. Then there's the S Hold System, which allows you to "charge up" an attack by holding down the appropriate button. This is meant to be a newcomer-friendly mechanic, but we suppose it could have applications in competitive play as well.

English-language trailers are now available for the menacingly strange Adachi, the adorably tsundere Marie and the android wonder, Aegis. Peep their respective trailers below to hear their English voice actors and to see their attacks in action, as well as sneak peeks at their parts in the story mode. And yes, Aegis, Junpei-san will always remain the Disgrace Detective.

Look out for Persona 4 Arena when it hits the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 30, 2014.

The Investigation Team and SEES might have some moves, but can they stand up against the 5 Best Video Game Mans at Karate?
