The latest trailers for the role-playing game/fighter, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, feature more of Ken and Koromaru, plus a look at the RPG-like Golden Arena Mode.

It was already confirmed the youngster Ken Amada and the faithful hound Koromaru from Persona 3 were set to join the fray as combatants in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, but now we can see them in action in the trailer above.

As you can see, both characters are considerably older than when we last saw them. Ken, in particular, seems to be budding into quite a heartthrob at his school, capable of making girls swoon and cheer by showing them is sick soccer skills. Koromaru, though largely appearing the same, has gotten on in dog years but is still fighting fit. Together, they join forces in battle as a furious combo of teeth and spear blades.

The second trailer here gives us a brief rundown on the Golden Arena Mode, which has you to roll through an RPG-like experience that allows you to level up, increase your fighter's attributes, form Social Links and gather new skills. We're very interested in seeing how deep this Golden Arena Mode will go and we'll update you when more information has been made available.

Look forward to being reunited with Ken and Koromaru, and to dive into Golden Arena Mode, when Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is released on Sept. 30 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
