Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Headed to PSN

A new ESRB rating for Persona 2: Eternal Punishment has appeared, indicating Atlus and Sony are readying the PlayStation One Classic for the PlayStation 3 and PSP.

Joystiq spotted the listing, which has Persona 2 listed as "T for Teen." The first game, Persona: Innocent Sin, was released on the PlayStation Network back in 2011.

While neither Atlus nor Sony has actually announced Persona 2 would be coming to PSN, an ESRB rating like this is all but indicative of an impending launch. The Persona series has seen great success on Sony's consoles and handhelds, so it makes sense to re-release Persona 2 in this fashion, especially since it's still rather hard to get a physical copy of the original game.
