With all the discouraging news about certain games that won't be available on the Nintendo Wii U, it's heartening to know that Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut will feature improvements solely for the console. Improvements for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 are currently not on the docket, claims game designer Emile Pedneault.

In an interview with The Penny Arcade Report, Pedneault stressed that the Wii U version is the superior title among all the other consoles, and he claims the visuals are even better than the PC version! He also praised the integration of the Wii U GamePad with Deus Ex's game play.

"The hacking by touch is so cool, it's like it was intended all along to be done by touch," said Pednault. "And by leaving the main screen open, you can look around and make sure no one will spot you while hacking. So that's one of the things that we instantly thought, seeing the Wii U, that would work well, and that's exactly the case. We have the ultimate experience."

The director's cut also features eight hours of audio, as developer commentary can be played throughout the game. And just in case you need a little help, the Wii U title also comes with a digital version of the Deus Ex: Human Revolution strategy guide.

Although earlier reports had Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut coming out on May 7th, Amazon currently does not have a specific release date for the game.
