Everyone is saying that the Wii U is falling on hard times because it simply doesn’t have the software support. Well, Nintendo is here to show you that third party software is still alive and strong on its new platform. They recently sent out a brand new release schedule showing off all the third party titles that will be coming out for the Wii U from now until the end of the summer. The list isn’t complete but it does give you a bit of a look into the Wii U’s immediate future.

The list is as follows:

  • Injustice: Gods Among Us on April 16
  • The Rayman Legends demo in late April
  • Resident Evil: Revelations on May 21
  • Fast & Furious: Showdown on May 21
  • Sniper Elite V2 on May 21
  • LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes this spring
  • Mutant Mudds Deluxe in Q2
  • Spin the Bottle this summer
  • Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara this June
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  • DuckTales Remastered
  • Disney's Planes on August 6 (also for Wii, DS, and 3DS)
  • Disney Infinity on August 18 (also for Wii and 3DS)
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist on August 20
  • Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails

So yeah, the Wii U has a lot of licensed titles, obscure games, and titles that already came out on other platforms. All of these games are cool, but none of them jump out at us as the killer app that will finally sell the console.
