Hot on the heels of Xbox's spring sale announcement is the Nintendo's seasonal sale, which includes some awesome Kirby, Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros. discounts.

If you own a Nintendo 3DS or Wii U, it's time to open up your wallets as Nintendo's Super Spring Sale has started and it has some pretty awesome titles you can check out for a discount (courtesy of Destructoid). Some of the more notable ones are Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Pikmin 3, Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Mario Kart 7. You can expect discounts up to 30 percent off on these titles that you can check out below:

  • Wii U
    • Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker ($27.99)
    • Pikmin 3 ($41.99)
    • Golden Sun ($5.59)
    • Chariot ($10.49)
    • A World of Keflings ($6.99)
    • CastleStorm ($6.99)
    • Sportsball ($7.00)
    • F-Zero Maximum Velocity ($4.89)
  • 3DS

There's definitely a good mix of different game types in this sale with action games being represented by Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Mighty Gunvolt, Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Siesta Fiesta then racing games coming out with F-Zero Maximum Velocity and Mario Kart 7 as well as a couple of puzzle games with Tetris Ultimate and Kersploosh! and all of the other games being everything in-between. The prices that these are being offered at also span a pretty large range with the most expensive being Pikmin 3 at $41.99 and the least expensive being Kersploosh! at $2.09. Unfortunately, this sale reminds us that most of the Wii U's must-have, first-party games, such as Super Mario 3D World and New Super Mario Bros U, take forever to get their price reduced, even after launching a couple years ago.

If you're interested in any of these deals make sure you don't waste time, as the sale will end on April 20 at 11:59AM EST.
