Nintendo has officially invited the public to attend its Super Smash Bros. invitational tournament which will be taking place at E3 2014.

Nintendo has announced that anyone in the Los Angeles area who would like to watch its first-ever public tournament of the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U may attend. That means 16 of the best Super Smash Bros. players in the country will be competing on June 10 at the Nokia Theater L.A., live in Los Angeles, CA. The event will be streamed live on both E3 and Nintendo's Twitch channels and will be open to the first 3,000 attendees.

The event will be taking place at 777 Chick Hearn Court, Los Angeles, CA, just a block away from the LA Convention Center where E3 will be happening. Wristbands are required for entry and will be given outside the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans dressed in a costume of their favorite Super Smash Bros. character might be selected for priority seating right in front of the main tournament stage. The tournament will be starting at 4PM PDT on Tuesday, June 10.
