At the Nintendo E3 press event, the first trailer for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire was revealed along with a release date.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, developed by Game Freak, are scheduled for a November 21 release on the 3DS. The accompanying trailer shows the remastered Pokemon games in action, including exploration and combat sequences, and reveals new Mega Evolutions for the game's three Generation III starters, Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip. It was also confirmed that the Pokemon on the covers of the games are Primal Groudon (Pokémon Omega Ruby) and Primal Kyogre (Pokémon Alpha Sapphire).

Despite the fact that these are 3D remakes of eleven year-old Game Boy Advance games, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire are sure to be among the year's best-selling handheld games. We'll make sure to update with any new info that arises.
