New Yoshi Wii U Game Coming From Epic Yarn Team

It's been a while since Yoshi's starred in his own game, but that's about to change thanks to the Kirby's Epic Yarn development team.

Though little about the game was actually discussed, there was a bit of gameplay from Yoshi Wii U shown off. The character hasn't had his own game since 1998's Yoshi's Story, and that game's director, Takashi Tezuka, is supervising development of this new title.

No actual title was given for the game, nor was any intended release date, but Nintendo may have more to show for Yoshi Wii U at E3 2013. For now, enjoy the few screenshots, and let us know if you're excited for a new Yoshi game.
