New Tomb Raider Video Shows Lara’s Basic Instincts

Tomb Raider

A new development documentary for Crystal Dynamic’s Tomb Raider sheds light on how Lara adapts and learns to survive after being shipwrecked.

The Tomb Raider reboot will be an origin story of sorts for Lara Croft, and will show her growth from a young woman into the adventuress we all remember from the original games. Crystal Dynamics has released the first in a new line of viddocs taking a look at the genesis of Lara over the course of the game, and what kind of tools players will have at their disposal to help transform Lara into a bad ass.

The RPG elements being added should provide players with varying experiences, and the openness of the island leaves lots of possibilities for exploration and experience earning. Tomb Raider is due out on March 5, 2013 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
