Atomic Productions, known for their spoofs of big-time movies like 'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'The Hunger Games', are moving into the realm of video game fan films, and their first venture is a stealth sensation.

The first teaser trailer for 'The Splinter Cell' released a couple of weeks ago, and it shows Sam Fisher doing what he does best: sneaking up on an enemy soldier and taking him out. It's only a 30-second clip, but it's enough to get fans of Splinter Cell eager to see more.

The new fan film might work as a great appetizer for the real Splinter Cell movie coming soon to theaters. That film just signed a new director in Doug Liman, fresh off of the Tom Cruise action flick 'Edge of Tomorrow'. He recently spoke to IGN about his take on the franchise, saying that "everything about Splinter Cell will be younger. It’s a chance to come up with a new franchise that is fresher and newer and younger."

The fan film is currently slated to release "soon," as there's not solid release date yet. As soon as the real release date is announced, we'll be sure to update you immediately.
