Happy turkey day! A lot of awesome new releases are hitting the App Store this week, including a final episode to the Walking Dead, another endless runner and a game with ponies! Who doesn't love ponies? These games will be available to download just after 11:00 PM Eastern time in the U.S., if they haven't already come out. Let's take a look at the new releases for this week! (Pricing and links will be made available when the games hit the U.S. App Store.)

  • Rage of the Gladiator

    Gamelion Studios

See the graphics on this thing? Battle all sorts of monsters, Infinity Blade style? Even if you're sick of the control scheme, this looks way too cool to pass up. And it's on sale for a buck!

  • Pony Trails

    Chillingo

Pick ponies! And ride them! And clean them! And whatever else it is you do with a pony game! Ok, so it looks pretty neat for a pony game.

  • Armored Drive

    4gency, LLC

Remember the classic arcade game Spy Hunter? Armored Drive reminds us of that. Or it's a game about the 405 freeway in Los Angeles. Either way, you'll have over 20 weapons to use in 40+ missions as you battle traffic both on the ground and in the air.

  • Walking Dead: The Game Episode 5

    Telltale Games

The first season of Walking Dead: The Game comes to a close in Episode 5. What will happen to Lee Everett and friends? And will he return for season 2 that's coming next year? You'll have to download to find out.

  • Endless Road

    Chillingo

An endless runner where the landscape is drawn right in front of you? Sounds cool. It's a Chillingo title so you can expect it to be addicting.

  • Tropical Stormfront

    Christoph Aschwanden

This real time strategy game puts you in control of tanks, helicopters, planes and everything else needed to blow your enemy to kingdom come. With 25 missions, you'll be busy for quite a while.

  • Skylanders Battlegrounds

    Activision Publishing, Inc.

These Skylanders games are dropping like crazy into the App Store. Meet new enemies and fight Kaos' evil army. Swap your Skylanders at will (even with the optional Bluetooth Portal of Power), and have at it. Skylander fans will eat this new game up.

  • Meganoid 2

    Pascal Bestebroer

The original Meganoid was an indie hit and the sequel looks to be even bigger and better. And harder. Bring your best gaming skills if you wanna beat this one.

  • Desert Stormfront

    Christoph Aschwanden

Not a fan of tropical weather? How about the desert? Desert Stormfront is the companion game to Tropical Stormfront. No matter which one you choose, you'll have a good time with over 30 campaign missions and 20 different vehicles and weapons.

  • Littlest Pet Shop

    Gameloft

OMG IT'S LITTLEST PET SHOP! AND IT'S FREE! WHY ARE WE TYPING THIS WHEN WE COULD BE PLAYING IT? GOODBYE WEEKEND!!!!

  • Race of Champions World

    Invictus

Kind of a long winded name for a car game, but who cares. It looks totally dope. And it better be for $5! With real cars racing on real tracks including tracks in London and Barcelona, you'll be tilting your iPad like crazy trying to get to the finish line before everyone else.

  • Sphoxie

    Olivier Archer

This game looks totally weird, and totally fun. Control a spikey little blue guy as he tries to get home after being sucked through a portal and into a strange cubed world. With 24 levels and three boss fights you'll be tripping out at the crazy graphics and gameplay.

  • Motley Blocks

    Square Enix

Connect chains of colored blocks to reveal hidden images! What? We don't know, but the game looks like fun. Which means we'll be downloading it and playing it while the family argues at the dinner table.

  • Heroes of Order & Chaos

    Gameloft

The first Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game looks monstrous! (Pun intended!) Choose between 30 heroes, upgrade them and play solo or online with your buddies. Sounds and looks awesome. Can't wait to play as a human/elf/donkey hybrid. That's available, right? Well, it should be.
