New Rain Screenshots Reveal Hidden Mysteries

Sony Japan has updated the official site for the video game Rain with new images showing the differences between the regular world, and the world that appears when it rains.

The three sets of new images pair off to show the normal world, and the one inhabited by the invisible children you seemingly play as in Rain. Each of the pairs also includes some caption like "Sometimes rain brings melancholy," "Sometimes rain reflects loneliness," or "Sometimes rain soaks through the heart." We know very little about Rain at the moment, but based on the somber tone of the captions, it appears the game will deal with some relationship and emotional issues.

Rain was supposed to release last year in Japan, but the game is still MIA from the PlayStation 3. There's no word if the game will make it to the U.S. just yet, but we should learn more once Sony actually releases the game in Japan.
