New Destiny Screenshots Show Exotic Locales, Behemoth Enemies

On the morning of E3, the former house of Halo has posted five new screenshots for its upcoming first-person shooter, Destiny.

These new screenshots for Destiny provide some insight as to what to expect from Bungie's first non-Halo FPS developed in a long time. There are plenty of barren wastelands to explore, with enemies lurking throughout each desolate area. The lunar landscape is looking quite ravishing. And the massive, shielded enemies appear to be Destiny's equivalent of the Halo series' Hunter enemies.

Destiny will drop on Sept. 9 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Pre-ordering it online or at participating retail stores will grant you access to Destiny's beta, which will be happening later this summer. PS3 and PS4 players will get access to the beta first with Xbox players getting access a short time later.
