Tired of shooting virtual people in their virtual faces, day in and day out? Hungry for something a little different? Check out the launch trailer for Never Alone, the new puzzle-platformer from E-Line Media.

Also known as Kisima Inŋitchuŋa, Never Alone tells the story of a young Iñupiat girl named Nina and her fox friend on a journey to end the eternal blizzard ravaging their native land of Alaska. Players will need to think before they leap in order to make it through this atmospheric puzzle-platformer.

In developing Never Alone, the development team at E-Line Media drew heavily from traditional Alaskan folklore; the title was developed with heavy involvement from the Cook Inlet Tribal Council, a non-profit group working to celebrate and support Alaska's indigenous groups. The Cook Council wanted to help build a series of games that "shares, celebrates, and extends culture" while also exploring intergenerational stories which delve into "what it means to be human." Proceeds from the game will go to the Cook Council's educational mission.

Never Alone is slated for a Nov. 18 release on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, with a planned cooperative mode to be implemented in the future.
