Multiverse Studio has announced that it will be getting in on the hack and slash action of Ninja Gaiden with a Ryu statue.

Together with Koei Tecmo America Corp., Multiverse Studio will be producing a pretty awesome Ryu statue based on the Ninja Gaiden game series. Ryu will be the first character in the Ninja Gaiden line, and will be come in at around 13" tall. This means that the statue will be 1/6 scale and have plenty of room for intricate details. The stance Ryu is placed in shows the character's fighting style as well as his grace and fluidity. There will be LED lights added into the stated for "theatrical ambiance" using different light effects. The statue can either be powered on by AC batteries or USB power, which makes Ryu a perfect desk-side companion.

The company won't be stopping with the Ryu statue. There aren't any specific details yet about what the line might entail, but it seems as though Ryu is not the only character from the Ninja Gaiden series that has piqued Multiverse's interest. We will have to wait and see which other characters get their own statues.

Pre-orders aren't available yet, but you can sign up for the Multiverse mailing list to be notified when the sale starts. You can expect Ryu to become available for mass release sometime in June 2015, and in the meantime, you can check out the sneak peek pictures below.
